Restorative yoga is a completely passive practice that utilizes props to support our bodies in all of the poses to aid in complete relaxation. By relaxing our muscles, lowering our heart rate, and allowing our nervous system to slow down, restorative yoga helps us to balance our fast-paced lifestyles. As we find stillness in the pose we allow for healing, both physically and mentally, which ultimately supports us in being more focused and effective.
In this very special restorative class, we will be accompanied by the vibrations and harmonies of Nepalese sound therapy bowls. The vibrations work to awaken the parasympathetic nervous system and allow for a very deep relaxation. Reiki will also be given during this class. Reiki is an energy healing modality that utilizes universal energy and light to heal the physical, energetic, and auric bodies.
Restorative is accessible to people of all ages and skill-levels. This class is limited to 20 people and usually fill up quickly so sign up soon to reserve your space!
