Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old holistic healing system of India. Ayurveda literally translates to “science of life.” It’s considered the sister science to yoga, encompassing the lifestyle and diet choices based on individual needs that keep us in optimal health.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic principles of Ayurveda and the art of healthy living. You’ll gain an understanding of the three doshas (what we’re each made of) and discover your individual dosha. We’ll talk about diet, environment and lifestyle habits, which will help you find your ideal state of balance and realize your fullest human potential.
We will also discuss how your yoga practice can be individualized to help balance your state of wellbeing, and a short yoga practice will be included.
